This Spring we've been analyzing market needs and talking with customers about the performance of
products they currently use and the characteristics of polyurethanes they wish were available. In response, Innovative Polymers is introducing a family of flame retardant, Shore A polyurethanes. We have formulated a number of additions to our line of casting polyurethanes and foams as well.
This E-news also features a story (with some fascinating photos) about the success one of our customers has had casting hand- and foot-holds for indoor climbing walls and offers guidelines for painting polyurethane parts.

NEW Polyurethanes Designed to Meet Market Needs
A number of additions have been made to the Innovative Polymers product line to facilitate system handling and casting and improve end-product performance for our customers. Among the new polyurethanes are:
- Industrial Casting Systems: Now includes a Shore A product with a 45-minute gel time and five new Shore D systems that overcome the disadvantages of competitive materials.
- Polyurethane Foams: Family additions include a lightweight, flexible product, easier-to-mix systems, and materials for new market niches.
- High Performance Polyurethanes: Two new products include a UL 94 V-O system and an ultra-high flex modulus, heat-resistant polyurethane. Read more...
